Of course, after Wright State, we go to Butler -- which is no cake walk -- then we host VCU in the BB return ...

This game is a must win for Bradley tonight if they want to keep their at-large chance alive because winning at Butler should be tougher than this game. Of Course Wright State just beat Butler at home by 1 last week, so should be a tough task. Big stretch for the Braves as they have 3 quality games. So far the Braves have beat the teams they were suppose to beat (minus the UIC game), and lost to the teams they should have lost to. Time to step it up and get a big road win.

As I said in the SIU thread, the Valley really needs to go at least 2-1 tonight.

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of faith in E-Ville, so its probably up to Bradley and SIU.

This could be a real quality raod win for the Braves at season end. Play with the same intensity shown against MSU and the Braves win easily.

Wright State was in control of the first half until Bradley went to zone. It looked like they hadn't practiced for it. I hope we see it again for a couple of possessions.

BU outscored Wright by 9 in the last 5 minutes of regulation to get it to OT. Then outscored them by 7 the next 5 minutes. Nice finish. Almost have to chalk this one up to conditioning and the refusal to lose.

BU didn't play anything resembling their best game. First 15 minutes of the second half a lot of things went against them and a lot of things (like FG's) didn't work. Really hard to win on the road when not everything is clicking smoothly for 40 minutes.

Glad I listened to this game. BU hasn't always been a good road team. This is a good win for BU. It's not a good sign for the rest of the Valley once conference play begins. BU gutted one out on the road and that's critical in league play.

Big win for BU last night. Crouch and Ruffin only had 7 points each, so Warren was huge last night picking up the scoring slack with his 23 points. Theron Wilson also made some huge plays down the stretch and finished with 14 points and 9 rebounds. If people remember Lawrence Wright from the Sweet 16 team, he's a very similar player. He's about 6'6, and very athletic and causes match-up problems for lots of teams.

On another note, it was reported in the paper this morning that Ruffin strained an abdomenal muscle in practice this week and was a gametime decision on if he played. Les thought he was probably only 65-70% healthy which explains his off game. The Braves don't play till next Wednesday @ Butler so hopefully he can heal up between now and then.
