I watched hours of curling during the Olympics. It's absolutely fascinating yet calming. It's like sports Vicodin.

They have great uniforms but they always lose to Western Kentucky.

Just because something is done outside, it doesn't make it a sport.

That would be awesome. (The curling, that is.)

I went curling just before Thanksgiving last year and had a great time. The only US curling sheets on the West Coast are in Seattle and the club is always full. (But, boy was I sore the next day.)

Couple that with the CBC on cable here and I'm slightly addicted. (Plus, some of the women on the Canadian teams are kinda hot...)

Take a look at http://www.collegecurling.org. You'll see some of the best curling teams Drake has sent to College Curling's big dance. I think the last team Drake sent was in 2005.

Curling will be gone with Global Warming.

Too bad it is a great activity.

I'm thinking about starting a curling club at Mo State. That website previously posted says you can get equipment and a sheet of ice made for less about 4500. pretty sweet considering the school has a fund that can spit out up to 5K per student organization.
