MVC indoor meet this week @ UNI

ISU's men picked to finish 3rd (really think they can get 2nd though, UNI is too tough), Women picked to finish 2nd. Only 6 schools in the MVC sponsor track for men, 8 for women.

UNI Men should win with relative ease. Our track program has taken some serious steps in the past few years.

The Women's Meet could be very close. Maybe even down to the 4 x 400.

but yeah, It does seem like it would take something drastic to keep the UNI men from winning their 9th straight MVC indoor chmpionship.

Hopefully the MVC can come away from this weekend with a few more Qualifiers for the NCAA indoor chmpionships. It looks like there are a couple of times from around the league that are just missing out, maybe a championship meet will give them that little extra jolt for them to put up a time (or performance) within qualifying range .

I just scanned, but so far it looks as if UNI is living up to the hype and if it keeps this up should take home both titles.

Strong showing by SIU riding 26 points off of the weight throw alone. The final 12 events complete tomorrow.

UNI women and SIU men winning, I would suspect UNI will win both titles rather easily. Hopefully ISU's men and women move to 2nd
