Jays Land Indiana Transfer

Creighton has receive a commitment from Xavier Keeling, who is a former player at Indiana under Mike Davis. Transferred after Mike Davis was fired as coach and went to JUCO. He will be eligible to play next season. It has not been out in an official release, but is being reported by a local Omaha radio personality.

He is about 6'7" and in the 230-240 range

Full Story - he committed to the Jays 2 weeks ago but he plays on one of the best Juco teams in the country....they were waiting to announce the deal at the Juco Championship tourney but his team lost early...that's why it came out now. This was long in the making after he left Indiana and didn't follow Davis to UAB. He's from Topeka so home is big here.

From the info I've got - he's a bigger version of Nick Porter. Strong, physical defender on the wing who is a big body for rebounding. This is a big get for the team next year.....My only question now is scholarship limits....is someone now without one? Next year's team on scholarship:

This is a good pick up for CU. I remember him from his IU days. He'll be a solid, solid player in the valley. :sycamores:

No we still had one to give because we had an open one this year. Now if we still pursue the highly touted big guy and land him we're going to have to open up a scholarship from somewhere, maybe we can get kyle to pay for his brothers tuition :original:
