I'm guessing his original contract was for 4-5 years. Long term contract or not, if somebody offers him $1 million+ per year, it will be very hard to turn down.

Karma. Keita, you are all over it during the season but slipped once after the season and it came back to bite ya:grin:

I do feel bad for Drake. Usually this type of thing doesnt happen so fast. Sure it wouldnt hurt less if it was three years down the road but at least you would have had those three years.

don't knock kieta too hard. I'm with him, I didn't think Keno would go anywhere, and still think Providence took a huge gamble.

I think Keno had a lot to prove on the recruiting trail, building those recruits up, and sustaining success, winning an NCAA tourney game, before a Big East team should have taken a shot at him. Apparently Providence disagrees, and hopefully their gamble pays off.
