I had the IUPUI guy the whole way......ORU guy got dominated and on top of it, he got suspended from being a mascot I believe......

Yeah, the jag owned. Some pretty good time out entertainment though. Would be cool to see the WuShock fight the Saluki or something some time.

I got to give the ORU bird credit though for taking out the cheerleader that tried to break it up. The Golden Eagle was having none of it ... until the Jaguar kicked his ___. Why don't we have more mascot fights in the Valley?

Really, why didn't anyone jump in and stop it sooner? Were people just watching and thinking it was part of the show?

To me, it looks like it was a SHOW... a staged show.

The Tulsa World (http://209.184.242.25/sports/article.aspx?articleID=20080313_2_B1_hScho84616) reports that the student in the ORU mascot costume has been suspended from that role for the rest of the year. Both mascots were kicked out of the championship game. This wasn't staged.
