WICHITA, Kan. -- The Wichita State men's golf team has been assigned to the NCAA Central Regional in Columbus, Ohio, the NCAA announced Monday. The 54-hole tournament will be held May 15-17, and will be played at the world-renowned Scarlet Golf Course. The Ohio State University will be the host for the tournament.
A total of 27 teams and six individuals not on selected teams were assigned to each regional site. Ten teams and two individuals not on advancing teams will move on from each regional to the championship finals.
As the Missouri Valley Conference champions, the Shockers have been seeded 11th in the regional, and will join 10 other conference champions in their 27-team field.
