Frank Wiseler, 6-1 point guard from the Urspring team in Germany will be going to Drake. He's originally from Luxembourg.
He played for the same team as Iowa State's Lucca Staiger, and like Staiger, the NCAA will force him to sit out a season.

But unlike Iowa State's BigMac, Phelps isn't going to whine about it. Maybe because he's a better man, or maybe because he hasn't had mass defections.

That's 4 recruits so far in the class of 2009-10....3 more to go. I've heard some of the names of guys who have been on campus, and if Phelps can sign a couple of those guys, it could be looking very good for the Bulldogs in 2-3 years.

From draftexpress.com
Frank Wiesler, 6-1, Point Guard, Senior, Urspring Academy...Mid/High Major Prospect (?)......A point guard from Luxembourg currently playing for German Urspring Academy, Wiesler shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding a mid to high major school if coaches here were paying attention. He’s a smart, under control player who can shoot the ball with range and put the ball on the floor reasonably well, mostly to take advantage of unbalanced defenses going either way with some crafty moves. He plays under control and can find the open man, always looking to get others involved, but not having a problem taking some offensive responsibilities himself when the situation calls for it. He’s not terribly big, quick or strong, which might limit his long-term upside to a certain degree (particularly defensively), but he definitely has a nice feel for the game.
He's no Gal Mekel, but then again, who is? :innocent:

I believe the Germans were all about offense.
