It took Packer several seconds to remove the foot from mouth to choke up a couple of friendly words. Nantz is singing the song.

During the UK-CONN game, they flash up how the top conferences are doing and there is the Missouri Valley right in the middle at 4-2.
Jim Nantz compliments how well the MVC is doing and mentions that he and Billy dissed the Valley earlier but they are proving they can play.
Packer is quiet at first but then chimes in about the big wins that Bradley had over Pitt and Kansas and WSU over Seton Hall and Tennessee.
They then show the chair of the committee, Littlepage, and say the committee did a good job and that Bradley had to be one of the last teams in and it was a good pick (along with George Mason- he thought that GMU was a 13 seed also- they are an 11).

Fudge Packer made sure to say that playing and winning the conference tourney final probably took a toll on Kansas and that it is hard to recover so fast. WAHH WAHH

They had four days to recover. They are a #4 seed. What more do they need to get ready for the Big Dance?

Nantz - "Isn't that great for the little guys."
Packer - "Yeah, it's something"
I'm calling shenanigans. They're big time phonies.

Again something the BCS conferences wanted a tourney to rake in more money but now their talking heads complain that it tires the babies out and the fact Kansas had to stay up late and play Friday night.
Screw 'em all.................They have no problem speaking their minds after the selection show but can't actually come out an compliment us straight up they always have to put a qualifier in there............

if nantz and packer had any balls, they'd make the same radio/talk show circuit this week they did last week and offer apologies to the valley and the caa.
but they don't.

they actually admitted they were part of the media that doubted the valley late in the game when they showed the breakdown of the sweet 16. It's funny the Big 10 was the highest rated conference this year and no teams left and last year they were perceived to be down (except Illinois) and they got 2 teams to the Final 4. It is who is playing best at the right time of the year.
