I received the following from a reputable source, who wishes to remain anonymous:
An arrangement has been made for CBS College Basketball commentators Jim Nantz and Billy Packer to meet with NCAA Division I Selection Committee chair, and University of Virginia athletic director, Craig Littlepage in the near future to settle differences caused by Mssrs. Nantz and Packer's comments on last Sunday's Selection show.
The meeting will take place at the Missouri Valley Conference's headquarters in St. Louis, MO. It is understood that the three gentlemen will meet around the dinner table, at which time Mssrs. Nantz and Packer will be served crow. It is not known what Mr. Littlepage will be eating, but it won't be crow. At the conclusion of the meeting, Packer and Nantz will issue a statement saying that they are clueless idiots and that Mr. Littlepage was right all along.
On a related note, the structure of this summer's Maryland basketball camp, directed by Maryland head coach Gary Williams, will be changed from "The Fundamentals of Winning" to "The Fundamentals of Whining."
