Royce at Indy State

I apologize if this has been brought up but I was wondering about Royce's future in Terre Haute. Is he still safe Sycamore fans?

I hope so because I like the guy and has had some success. Any rumblings at all there?

I think it was mentioned here that he would be back at ISU next year.....the last year on his current contract.

Yes he is coming back, we cannot pay him one more year, and pay another coach as well. Terre Haute really needs to rally around this team next year, and Royce needs to go get a JUCCO guy who can step in and play at the wing. He has to win next year or he is out!!:sycamores: :valley:

It would seem to be very difficult for a lame duck coach to recruit in todays environment with a player not expecting the coach who recruited him to be around for a while. They need to give Royce a contract extension with a smaller buyout clause.

I'd heard that Royce leaves after next year regardless. Tree fans?
