all these games for the most part have been real low scoring, and i'm not saying its all good defense.

and I'm not just saying this because the Salukis can't shoot worth a crap in that building. But did the rims sound funny to anyone else over the TV. Perhaps that is the reason for the low scoring.

Well, 6 games in a row where no one has approached 30 points! The second halves have been very good in the tourney, but those first halves are sickly! Having said that, the rims at Savvis Center are tight--they always have been. Perhaps that's why the first halves are so bad while the seconds have been better to watch. On top of that, the teams are playing pretty decent defense on some possessions. As the shot clock gets down to :06 or :05, you tend to chuck some bad shots, or you just panic a bit and not get totally set. UNI and MSU are really getting after each other. Should be a great second half.

The rims in St. Louis are very hard rims-not forgiving at all. However, it's fair for both teams...

its nerves... on saturday we should be witnessing "normal" valley hoops, as opposed to an ugly 42 point showing by my bears tonite.

i'm rooting for UNI the rest of the way in the dance.
