For those that can recall more than I-

It is raining right now in Omaha. It is expected to rain all day tomorrow.

If it is not possible to play our third game with WSU tomorrow, how will such a conference game be handled, in regards to potential makeup and impact on the conference race?

I'm sure they will resched. it for later in the year and try to play it. If not, I'm sure they have procedures for how to take that into account. However, I can easily see this game meaning big things in the Valley race.

Definitely. It could mean the difference between who wins the title or not or who even makes the tourney or not.

However, it's been clear all morning long. I would assume they will cram this in somehow this afternoon. It's too much of a pain in the *** for everyone involved to have to make this up at the end of the year.

If the game is rained out, its rained out. There will be no makeup.

I believe the MVC title was decided by a rainout one season. The game was simply not played, so the W/L % was higher for the one team over the other. Bob Warn of InSU was notorious for "working" the rainout opportunities to his advantage...especially when it came to games with WSU.

Its all moot now. Game called in top of ninth due to rain, WSU wins 3-1.

CU wins the series, 2 games to 1.

It rained throughout the game today.

I was truly amazed that they were able to get 8 innings in.
